Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager P2B to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project in the United States. You will review construction work plans, ensure environmental permitting compliance, and provide leadership across systems, civil works, and vertical facilities.

You will manage a large field team of inspectors and resident engineers, coordinate multi-contract interfaces, and oversee tunnel, trackwork, and system integration in an active railroad environment while guiding

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years delivering large-scale rail infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing large field teams including inspectors and resident engineers.
• Experience across heavy civil and vertical building construction; Amtrak projects desirable.
• Experience in multi-contract, interface-intensive program environments.

Responsibilities

• Review construction work plans and monitor compliance and environmental permitting requirements.
• Provide leadership and oversight of construction across systems, civil works, structures and vertical buildings.
• Manage interfaces across tunneling, surface alignment and systems installation packages.
• Oversee delivery of facilities including fan plants, shafts, and ancillary buildings.
• Lead a large field team of resident engineers, inspectors and construction management staff.
• Coordinate trackwork, tunnel concrete, structural systems and site/civil work in active railroad environment.
• Support integration of rail systems including traction power, signals, communications, ventilation and control.
• Ensure readiness for testing, commissioning and handover.
• Monitor contractor performance on safety, quality and schedule.
• Lead resolution of field issues such as constructability and sequencing.
