Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Construction Manager P2B to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project in New York, NY. You will review construction work plans and report on compliance and environmental permitting, as part of the Delivery Partner team.

This role requires leading field teams across systems, civil works, and structures, coordinating multi-contract interfaces, and preparing for testing and handover. A strong track record in large rail infrastructure and a relevant degree is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience delivering large-scale rail infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing large field teams including inspectors and resident engineers.
• Experience across heavy civil and vertical building/facilities construction.
• Experience coordinating with Amtrak projects desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; PE or CCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review construction work plans and regular reporting on compliance and environmental permitting requirements.
• Provide leadership and oversight of construction across systems, civil works, structures, and vertical building components.
• Manage complex interfaces across multiple contracts including tunneling, surface alignment, and systems installation packages.
• Oversee delivery of major facilities including fan plants, shafts, and ancillary buildings.
• Lead a large team of field personnel including Resident Engineers, inspectors, and construction management staff.
• Coordinate installation and integration of trackwork, tunnel concrete, structural systems, and site/civil infrastructure in an active railroad environment.
• Ensure readiness for testing, commissioning, and operational handover.
