Job summary

Prospect Park Alliance invites a Senior Construction Manager to lead the construction phase of capital projects, coordinating with internal teams, NYC Parks, regulators, and contractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, field reporting, and documentation while mentoring construction managers and aligning work with historic preservation standards across the Park’s capital portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in construction-related field and 7–10 years of project management experience.
• Experience with public-sector capital delivery and historic/landmark buildings is preferred.
• Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour required or to be obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect on-site work for materials and workmanship; maintain field reports and records.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and change orders; oversee procurement and payments.
• Lead pre-construction reviews, risk mitigation, and coordination with regulators, NYC Parks, and contractors.
• Mentor and supervise construction managers; develop standard operating procedures for documentation and contract administration.
