Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is seeking a Construction Manager who will lead on-site construction management for client projects, while contributing to business development and staff development. You will manage client relationships, plan and direct all phases from Preconstruction to Closeout, maintain budget and schedule, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction or related field and 12 years of cost-estimating experience.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field.
12+ years of relevant experience in construction cost estimating.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Electrical system knowledge.

Responsibilities

Manage the Client and construction/project management team to meet project goals.
Serve as liaison with clients and assist with project-related decisions.
Plan, organize, and direct the project management functions through all phases.
Oversee preconstruction activities including design management, scheduling, budgeting, and permitting.
Direct construction phase activities including procurement, risk management, quality assurance, safety, and execution.
Manage closeout processes and produce cost/status reports.
Mentor internal team or work independently and collaborate effectively.
