Qualifications

• Five or more years of construction leadership experience on large industrial capital projects.
• Ten or more years in industrial construction, project management, engineering, or capital project execution.
• Experience managing construction activities within operating industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple construction disciplines, contractors and work fronts on complex projects.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, construction packages, scopes of work, schedules and execution plans.
• Experience with construction safety, contractor management, constructability reviews, field execution, and project turnover.
• Willing and able to travel up to 50% based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction execution for large-scale capital projects within operating industrial manufacturing facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality execution.
• Develop construction strategies for complex projects involving major equipment installations, facility expansions, and infrastructure improvements.
• Partner with project management, engineering, procurement, operations, and contractors to develop integrated execution plans.
• Provide constructability, sequencing, site logistics, contracting, and execution input during project development and detailed engineering.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, packages, and schedules for constructability.
• Lead construction superintendents, contractors, and field resources across multiple disciplines, promoting PBM philosophy.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks impacting safety, cost, schedule, quality, or startup.
• Oversee major activities like equipment installation, heavy lifts, shutdowns, tie-ins, commissioning, and startup.
• Monitor progress and address schedule risks, cost impacts, and contractor performance with project controls.
