Georgia-Pacific LLC in Green Bay, Wisconsin seeks an aspiring Construction Management Field Engineer to join our Capital Projects & Engineering team. This role targets students graduating by May 2027 and focuses on developing and delivering large capital projects, obsolescence upgrades, and safety initiatives across major facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Engineering.
• Experience validating and reviewing existing estimates and schedules.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand the scope of work and all aspects of construction for each project.
• Build relationships with key partners to enable successful delivery.
• Participate in constructability reviews and engineering design of upcoming projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and conduct safety meetings.
• Coordinate with project teams to determine contract and construction strategy.
• Utilize technology to coordinate and communicate construction activities.
• Validate execution plans, schedules, and recovery actions as needed.
• Lead field quality audits and mitigate construction gaps.
• Assist teams with checkout, startup, and punch lists.
