Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Toledo, OR is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple capital and maintenance projects at the mill. You will mentor project teams, ensure milestones are met and guide strategic direction with the Engineering Leader and Project Engineers.

The role requires a seasoned professional with strong project management experience in manufacturing, and a focus on delivering quality outcomes while fostering a culture aligned with our Principled Based Management philosophy.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience directly supervising others within a manufacturing, industrial or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track the progress of approximately 20 projects, ensuring on-schedule and within-scope delivery.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Leader and Project Engineers for strategic direction and oversight.
• Participate in project team meetings and provide guidance to address key considerations.
• Maintain visibility across the entire project portfolio and align with organizational goals.
• Share learnings with the team to enhance capabilities and project execution.
