Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Engineering team at the Big Island Mill in Virginia. You will lead field execution of the capital project portfolio, coordinating contractors and internal resources to deliver safe, efficient projects in alignment with mill objectives.

You will support project managers, monitor schedules and budgets, and maintain strong safety oversight on site. Expect a hands-on role with multi-project responsibility and startup participation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial construction, maintenance, or project execution environments.
• 5+ years in construction management, site supervision, or related leadership roles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of the mill’s capital project portfolio with safe, high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate contractors and construction resources across projects.
• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets with project managers.
