Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead field services for civil infrastructure projects in Wichita, KS. You will oversee subcontractor coordination, schedules, budgets, and safety programs to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

You will develop and implement construction management plans, review submittals, manage procurement, and maintain project documentation. A PE/CCM and strong stakeholder relations are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in an engineering, architecture, CM, or related field.
• 10+ years in construction planning and management, including contracts, scheduling, cost control.
• Experience with Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam.
• Strong people skills and ability to interact with Owner, Engineer, Contractor and stakeholders.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.
• Sponsorship (visa) for US employment is not available now or in the future for this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor coordination, scheduling and quality control.
• Prepare the Project Management Plan or Construction Management Plan.
• Develop procedures for contract administration and document control, time, cost and safety management; implement with project team.
• Perform value engineering, constructability reviews, and procurement activities.
• Administer and manage construction activities and monitor progress to meet requirements.
• Coordinate and review submittals, shop drawings, and pay applications.
• Prepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and progress reports.
