Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in the United States (Missouri/Kansas City) to lead complex civil infrastructure projects from bidding through project closeout. You will coordinate subcontractors, prepare management plans, develop administration procedures, and oversee safety, quality, and schedule across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of construction management experience, PE license, and proficiency with Procore, Primavera, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in construction planning and management, including contracts, scheduling, cost control, and safety.
Experience with Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
Strong people skills and ability to interact with Owner, Engineer, Contractor and other stakeholders.
Active participant in employee-owned culture; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling and quality control.
Prepare Project Management Plans and Construction Management Plans.
Develop procedures for contract administration and safety management.
Perform procurement activities including subcontract packages and purchase orders.
Review submittals, schedule updates, and change orders.
Monitor project budget, quality, and schedule; ensure compliance with Health & Safety program.
