Job summary

Stepan Company is seeking a Construction Manager to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of capital projects typically between $1M and $3M. You will lead scope management, safety planning, and scheduling while coordinating with contractors and project teams on site.

The role requires experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, PSM plant environments, and strong knowledge of SAP/Ariba and MS Project. A PMP is a plus and a Bachelor’s in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of heavy industrial manufacturing experience required.
• Chemical plant project execution experience required.
• Capital Project execution experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety planning and issue safe work permits.
• Develop and manage construction schedules using MS Project.
• Review contractor scope and align with project goals.
• Monitor progress and ensure work aligns with drawings.
• Coordinate with PSSR team for commissioning documents.
