Job summary

HDR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Resident Project Representative II to join our team and play an important role in delivering high-quality construction projects for our clients.

In this role, you will serve as a key member of the project team, providing on-site construction observation, documentation, quality oversight, and coordination to help ensure projects are built in accordance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering, Construction Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years progressive construction experience.
• Understanding of contracts and codes.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Team player with strong communication.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specs; identify discrepancies.
• Maintain daily records of contractor activities and resources.
• Review materials for contract compliance.
• Track quantities and develop pay estimates.
• Attend and chair progress meetings.
• Supervise junior staff and inspectors.
• Assist with project audit/closeout.
• Work under Design Project Manager supervision.
• Coordinate with subconsultants.
