Job summary

The Raley’s Companies in West Sacramento, CA, seeks a Sr Manager, Construction to lead new store builds and remodels from design through ribbon-cutting. You will drive schedules, budgets, vendor coordination, and QA to ensure projects meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

You’ll manage construction teams, coordinate with Store Design, architects, engineers, and contractors, and balance fieldwork with long‑term planning to support growth across California and neighboring states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of grocery store ground-up builds or grocery store remodel experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction project management, coordinate architects and engineers, direct vendor activity.
• Oversee construction project execution from design through warranty period.
• Ensure quality, adherence to drawings, and on-site coordination.
• Lead meetings, manage schedules, and address project questions for seamless execution.
• Review budgets, plan layouts, and ensure code compliance and standards.
