Job summary

Regency Centers in Walnut Creek, CA, seeks a full-time Project Manager (Construction) to lead construction across a portfolio of shopping centers. You will manage tenant improvements, landlord work, redevelopment, and capital improvements from scope through closeout, coordinating with Leasing, Property Management, Tenant Coordination, and Development Accounting.

The role requires five years of retail/construction experience, travel, and strong budgeting and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (construction/architecture).
• Minimum five (5) years of retail or commercial construction management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Willingness to travel regionally and visit all sites.
• Ability to coordinate with Leasing, Property Management and others for landlord delivery.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project, Zoom and JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction at existing shopping centers, including landlord work, TI, redevelopment and facade renovations.
• Lead budgeting and scheduling for tenant and capital projects.
• Oversee contracts and change orders with Contract Administration.
• Coordinate design, permitting, and utility coordination for tenant work.
• Monitor costs, risks, and deviations; provide updates to leadership.
• Track milestones and closeout requirements; maintain dashboards.
• Support ground-up development projects when needed.
