Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a highly accomplished Construction Manager to lead the delivery of complex capital projects that support the expansion of our Specialty and Emergency Hospital portfolio across the United States and Canada. The role focuses on driving successful construction and occupancy of large-scale animal healthcare facilities, with programs often exceeding $20 million.

Qualifications

Experience delivering complex capital projects, including budgets >$20M.
Experience with real estate/tenant improvements and leases.
Strong estimating, risk management and cost-control capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop scopes, budgets, cash flow forecasts and schedules for capital projects (> $20M).
Lead budgeting, permitting, construction and occupancy across a portfolio of hospitals.
Direct multidisciplinary teams through all project phases.
Lead GC bid evaluations, negotiations and awards.
Oversee construction in occupied facilities with minimal disruption.
Coordinate with Real Estate and Legal on leaseholds and regulatory compliance.
Drive standardization of design and delivery processes for efficiency.
Collaborate with leadership to determine scope (renovation vs new facility).
Prepare budgets and communicate capex needs to divisions.
Track performance metrics and reporting for Capex projects.
Assist with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support evolving business needs.
