Job summary

DR. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee field activities, schedules, and safety across communities. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The candidate should have a strong track record in construction management, leadership, and a deep knowledge of building codes, permits, and customer handoffs. Excellent communication and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, communicate training to field personnel on construction processes, safety, quality, and policies.
• Schedule and direct tasks for all phases of construction.
• Supervise construction activities via managers and superintendents.
• Ensure safety standards per OSHA and regulations.
• Oversee field operations and ensure homes meet company standards.
