Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced construction manager for Richmond, VA, to deliver moderately complex projects safely, on time and within budget. You will supervise a team, coordinate with design leaders, and ensure adherence to project controls and safety requirements across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor or Master in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university.
• General Contractors License highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and quality expectations.
• Lead a small team and coordinate with design leaders, clients and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with department standards and project control procedures.
• Review vendor drawings, specifications and submittals for conformance.
• Promote client relationships and participate in major technical, cost and schedule decisions.
