Job summary

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to provide onsite leadership for complex projects in California. You will ensure work stays on budget and schedule while meeting contract requirements.

You will lead a construction management team, coordinate with contractors and engineers, and manage project controls, documentation, and safety to drive successful project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
• Minimum 9 years as a Construction Manager and 3 years as a Senior Construction Manager supervising staff.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of estimating, cost, scheduling, and contract compliance.
• Proficiency with Office tools and CM systems; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides construction management services on multiple or complex projects.
• Ensures adherence to contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications.
• Acts as onsite liaison with contractors and oversees progress.
• Coordinates activities of contractors, engineers and architects.
• Manages project controls, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Conducts meetings, records minutes, and tracks information.
• Ensures safety compliance and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Oversees project logistics, organization, and turnover to owner.
