Job summary

LeoForce in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced Construction Litigation Shareholder to lead complex disputes and guide a growing practice. You will represent contractors, subcontractors, developers, owners, and sureties in high-stakes matters with a regional and national footprint.

Applicants should have a J.D. from an accredited school and active licenses in MO, IL, OR or FL, strong advocacy, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with leadership capabilities within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in MO, IL, OR, or FL.
• Substantial litigation experience, with a focus on construction law preferred.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills with courtroom/deposition experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction-related litigation from pleadings through trial and appeal.
• Represent clients in disputes involving construction defects, liens, and bond claims.
• Advise on risk management and contract drafting/review to prevent disputes.
• Take and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, and prepare for arbitration or trial.
• Collaborate with a team to handle multi-party, technically complex matters.
• Build and maintain client relationships and participate in business development.
