Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a mid-level attorney in Clayton, MO to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff.

You will conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts, representing clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings as applicable. The role requires strong communication, research and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in MO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, depositions, mediations, and/or court proceedings as applicable
• Communicate clearly and proactively with clients regarding case status and strategy
• Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for accuracy and risk
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents affecting practice areas
• Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management
• Maintain thorough, organized, and up-to-date case files
