LeoForce in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to handle sophisticated business disputes from inception through resolution. This role offers ownership of substantial matters and close collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and a proven ability to manage cases with limited supervision. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and bar admission.
• 5+ years of litigation experience in complex commercial matters.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle.
• Draft and argue substantive motions and other pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare litigation strategy recommendations.
• Manage written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Work directly with clients to provide updates, evaluate risk, and develop case strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside experts as needed.
• Support trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings when required.
