Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience with roadway construction inspection and NICET certification preferred.
• Completion of Troxler radiation safety course and TTCP/ACI certifications preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect TxDOT construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare and submit testing and inspection reports daily.
• Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings before duties.
• Perform field tests using AASHTO/ASTM procedures with calibrated equipment.
• Maintain safety and proper use of documents, tools, and company vehicle.
• Collect, prepare and transmit samples to laboratories.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and BBS programs and communicate progress.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
