HNTB Corporation in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Inspector III to provide daily on-site inspection across multiple activities and disciplines, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. The role covers night and weekend work within a broad 12-county area and may involve interactions with TxDOT, VIA, and city/county entities.

You will maintain daily inspection logs, perform on-site material testing, and support senior staff with complex calculations and as-built sketches.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 6 years of construction related experience.
• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.
• TxDOT or CEI experience
• SiteManager experience
• APCM experience
• AutoDesk Construction Cloud (ACC) experience
• ACI and Level 1B certifications.

Responsabilités

• Inspects, observes, documents, and verifies work in progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with project schedule, contract documents, and plans.
• Confirms procedures are followed and material used conforms to specifications.
• Utilizes engineering inspection practices to perform complicated mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date.
• Maintains Inspector's daily report of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified.
• Performs on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
