Job summary

Raba Kistner, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector III or IV to join the Infrastructure team in West, TX. The role involves inspecting roadway construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications, preparing daily inspection reports, and coordinating with project teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive roadway inspection experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Occasional travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Seven (7) years experience in roadway and related facilities and construction inspection.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet firm’s auto insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities in accordance with established procedures and project documents.
• Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports daily.
• Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings prior to performing duties.
• Perform field tests on materials per AASHTO/ASTM standards with calibrated equipment.
• Maintain safety practices and use company vehicle and tools responsibly.
