Planate Management Group is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to perform detailed inspections and ensure quality workmanship on the Pier Mike marine project for the USCG base. The ideal candidate will read and interpret complex drawings, monitor multiple trades, and document findings with precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience in CI/QA roles or 5+ years with a four-year degree and relevant certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and building codes.
• Knowledge of multiple trades including structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, architectural, and civil.
• Proficient in documenting findings and preparing professional reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections to verify compliance with contract documents and quality requirements.
• Review drawings, plans, and specs and monitor progress.
• Identify deficiencies and track corrective actions.
• Document findings with photos and clear reports.
• Communicate findings to contractors and project managers.
• Maintain inspection records and project documentation.
