Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Construction Inspector III to join our CE&I team in Houston, Texas. You will assist in constructing public and private infrastructure projects across Aviation, Water, and Transportation markets, working with managers and engineers to ensure quality and compliance.

You will perform inspections, analyze drawings and specs, escalate issues, and produce daily and weekly reports. A strong background in construction management and client communication is essential, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction management degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in inspections, contract administration, and pay estimates.
• Familiarity with dredging projects and soil testing helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction management duties with increasing responsibility.
• Analyze plans and programs and apply standard techniques.
• Inspect projects for compliance with codes, standards and plans.
• Review drawings, specifications, and test results for quality.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues, and communicate test results to contractors.
• Produce daily and weekly reports and support QA procedures.
