Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Construction Inspector to join the CE&I team in the Dallas area to support public and private infrastructure projects.

You will work with construction managers, design engineers, project managers, and market directors to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and approved plans. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant construction experience, with OSHA 10 and DOT/MTA certifications advantageous.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma/GED; construction management degree or 5–10+ years construction experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency and strong communication abilities.
• Experience with construction management, inspections, methods, and materials.
• Knowledge of contract administration and pay estimates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction management duties with increasing responsibility.
• Analyze programs independently and apply standard techniques.
• Review and interpret construction documents, site drawings, and specs.
• Ensure inspections align with contract protocols and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors on test failures and issue resolutions.
• Produce daily and weekly reports and provide input to strategic decisions.
