Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our CE&I team in Houston. You will assist in executing construction management duties for public and private infrastructure projects, coordinating with engineers and project managers to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires strong document interpretation, site inspection skills, and the ability to produce timely field reports. A degree or equivalent field experience, and OSHA 10+ certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and a degree in construction management or equivalent experience.
• Experience in construction management, inspections, and materials testing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and pay estimates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspections of construction projects and materials for code and standard compliance.
• Interpret construction documents, site drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate with contractors to address issues and test failures.
• Support quality control and assurance procedures across projects.
