Job summary

O2EPCM, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to support LAWA’s civil inspection efforts across multiple projects within LAWA’s CIP. Candidates must hold a LADBS Grading Deputy or Deputy Post-Tensioning license and Cal-OSHA 30-hour certification.

The role requires extensive inspection of bridges, roads, sanitary/storm systems, and building components, with strong knowledge of LA/LAWA standards. Full benefits and long-term W2 employment offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting Cal-Trans bridge, roadway, and structures projects or 10 years as a Superintendent on such projects.
• Experience in public works inspections with heavy civil/roadway emphasis.
• Strong knowledge of City/County LA standards and Cal-Trans specs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect major reinforced concrete structures, roadways, and bridges across jurisdictions.
• Inspect sanitary sewer and storm drain installations per LA standards.
• Perform building inspections for exterior walls, roofing, framing, drywall, and interiors.
• Ensure compliance with traffic control plans and pedestrian safety requirements.
• Prepare daily inspection reports detailing observations, deficiencies, and safety concerns.
