Job summary

O2EPCM, Inc. is seeking a senior Construction Inspector to support LAWA projects in Los Angeles, focusing on civil construction inspection and QA/construction inspection duties across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting Cal-Trans bridge, roadway, and structures or 10 years as a Superintendent on such projects.
• Minimum 10 years of public works field inspection experience or 10 years as a Superintendent on Cal-Trans projects.
• Experience with installation and inspection of sewer and storm drain systems and utility infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of City of Los Angeles, LA County and Cal-Trans standards.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect major reinforced concrete structures including piles, roadways, and bridges across multiple jurisdictions.
• Inspect sanitary sewer systems and storm drains per LA standards.
• Inspect exterior walls, roofing, waterproofing, interior framing, drywall, ceilings, flooring and doors.
• Inspect street lighting and traffic signal installations per LADOT/LA Bureau of Street Lighting standards.
• Apply City of Los Angeles standards and Cal-Trans specifications in inspections.
• Enforce Cal-OSHA and safety requirements; document observations in daily reports.
• Review and assist in Contractor payment requests against the schedule of values.
• Collaborate with a large team of Inspectors.
