Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Engineering & Inspection team in New York State, based in Syracuse office.

Responsibilities include inspecting bridge and highway projects, documenting work with reports and photos, ensuring compliance with NYDOT specifications, and coordinating on-site activities. Requires 5+ years of inspection experience, NICET/ACI/NETTCP certifications, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction engineering/inspection experience.
• ACI and NETTCP concrete inspector certification, or NETTCP paving certification.
• NICET Certification (or equivalent) required.
• Experience with NYDOT and municipal clients.
• Valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bridges and/or highway construction projects with documentation.
• Oversee and coordinate documentation of construction inspections.
• Ensure work meets NYDOT specifications.
• Apply project plans, policies, standards, and specifications.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate with the project team.
• Coordinate site activities and resolve issues.
