Job summary

The Oklahoma Military Department seeks a Construction Maintenance Tech III at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base in Oklahoma City to perform construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment. The role includes assisting skilled tradesmen in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems, plus grounds upkeep and preventive maintenance.

Required are five years of experience in building trades and an Oklahoma Pesticide Applicator Certification within one year.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in building trades or equivalent
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures
• Ability to supervise others and follow written and oral instructions
• Knowledge of safety procedures and use of maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and debris cleanup
• Assist skilled tradesmen in construction, renovation, and repair of facilities
• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related systems as needed
• Operate construction and grounds maintenance equipment
• Attend safety trainings and staff meetings as required
• Assist with inspecting and maintaining tools and equipment
