Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. in the United States seeks a Construction Expert to join our forensics team. You will conduct investigations, analyze construction defects, and prepare detailed reports for litigation and insurance claims.

The ideal candidate holds a PE or GC license, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or construction management, and proven on-site evaluation and expert testimony experience. Strong PM and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of construction concerns and problems, including active or completed construction projects.
• Perform on-site investigations, review contracts and legal documents, and meticulously report findings.
• Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims.
• Develop and present clear, concise, and defensible opinions regarding construction defects.
• Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, building codes, and relevant regulations.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
