Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Expert to join a growing team focused on construction forensics.

You will conduct investigations, analyze critical issues, and provide expert opinions and testimony in litigation and insurance claims. Ideal candidates hold a Professional Engineer (PE) or General Contractor (GC) license, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management.
• PE license or GC license.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct investigations and evaluations of construction concerns on active or completed projects.
• Perform on-site investigations, review contracts and legal documents, and report findings.
• Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims.
• Develop clear, defensible opinions on construction defects.
• Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, building codes, and regulations.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Manage multiple investigations with strong project management capabilities.
• Commitment to growth and development of the business.
• PE or GC license required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management.
