The Controller at AVI Roofing, Inc. leads all accounting and financial operations, driving GAAP-compliant reporting, monthly close, cash management, and project accounting across the organization.

This senior role partners with executive leadership to strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and provide financial insight for strategic decision-making in a construction-focused business.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Construction industry experience required.
• Significant experience with POC accounting and WIP reporting.

Mansioni

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules.
• Produce monthly financial statements and executive analyses.
• Analyze results vs. budget and forecast; provide actionable recommendations.
• Lead audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
