The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates and detailed proposals for high-end projects, while evaluating vendor and subcontractor bid proposals and analyzing plans and scopes of work. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of estimating within a general contractor setting, strong cost understanding, and the ability to work full-time in-office on-site in Miami Beach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in the general contractor industry.
• Extensive knowledge in quantity take-off and proposal preparation.
• Proficiency in quantity take-off software.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction costs and materials.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work full-time from Miami Beach office.
• Spanish: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for construction projects.
• Request and review proposals from vendors.
• Attend Pre-Bid meetings or pre-construction meetings.
• Job site visits as required.
• Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
