Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in CM/CE or substantial field experience.
• Minimum 6 years in construction estimating, senior level preferred.
• Proficient in estimating software (HCSS, Bluebeam, P6) and MS Office.
• Strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Analyze plans and specs to determine scope and clarifications.
• Collaborate with estimators, DB engineers, and operations for data gathering.
• Review subcontractor and supplier bids for competitiveness and compliance.
• Maintain a historical cost database for reference in future estimates.
• Update estimates through project lifecycle with scope changes.
• Assist bidding, prepare bid packages, and attend pre-bid meetings; travel for site visits.
• Coordinate scope of work coverage between discipline estimators.
• Schedule key scope activities and assess impacts and durations.
• Budget development in current software; coordinate with estimators, ops, and accounting.
• Train estimating staff on selected programs.
• Support contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure estimates comply with policies, standards, and regulations.
