Job summary

A leading industrial construction firm is seeking an Estimator for an advanced role in Napa, CA. The candidate will develop complex estimates for construction projects, utilizing their extensive knowledge of industrial construction and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, training junior estimators, and performing trend analysis. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s of Science and have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. This full-time position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Estimating or equivalent experience in Industrial or Commercial construction.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction estimating and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Complete estimates for large and complex construction projects.
• Review RFQ drawings and perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Train and mentor less experienced estimators.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read drawings

Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
