Job summary

LeoForce in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Permanent Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating across demolition, dirt work, concrete, asphalt, and finish grade. You will prepare detailed bids and work with project managers, engineers, and architects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with Bid2Win, Trimble, and HeavyBid, and a solid grasp of federal, state, and county regulations. A Bachelor's in CM or Civil Eng is preferred, PEC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Experience with demolition, dirt work, concrete, asphalt, and finish grade.
• Proficiency with Bid2Win, Trimble, and HeavyBid software.
• Solid understanding of federal, state, and county construction regulations.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates and bids for a wide range of construction projects.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects during the estimation process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Use bid2win, trimble software to manage and track estimates.
• Understand and adhere to federal, state, and county regulations related to construction projects.
• Participate in bid negotiations and contract reviews.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction technology.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior estimators.
