Job summary

Clark Construction Inc. in Kitsap County, WA, seeks an experienced Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates for diverse projects, from residential remodels to large commercial builds.

You will work as part of a team to produce accurate takeoffs and bid analyses, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining organized estimate files. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with engineers, and solicit subcontractor proposals while supporting project scheduling and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or similar technical training.
• Minimum of five years of experience in estimating projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam and Procore.
• Ability to manage an entire estimate of a project.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-scope cost estimates for a variety of projects for public and private clients.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation.
• Create take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Set up and maintain the bid estimate file and associated items.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Support procurement and project scheduling activities.
