Job summary

Precision Industrial Contractors in Washington state is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop complete estimates for large, complex projects. You will review owner plans, develop construction plans to form the basis of the estimate, and coordinate with internal teams.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, familiarity with Bluebeam, Project and FastPIPEs, and strong attention to detail. Benefits include 401k, health coverage, paid holidays, travel reimbursement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or related work experience in construction technology.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Project and FastPIPEs.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop complete estimates for large, complex jobs.
• Review plans to understand project scope and craft construction plan for estimates.
• Review bid and contract documents and legal opinions.
• Conduct site investigations before planning operations.
• Use engineering techniques to investigate and follow policy.
• Perform design work beyond estimator scope when needed.
• Develop and manage scope, budget, and schedule.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new equipment or methods.
• Prepare specialized studies or reports for bid items.
• Consult with owners on problems during bid, design, rates, and schedules.
