Job summary

Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District 2021 seeks a seasoned Construction Project Controls specialist to support capital programs in wastewater treatment and collection projects. You will analyze costs, manage change orders, and help coordinate activities across utilities and agencies.

Responsibilities include evaluating contractor proposals, developing pre-authorizations and workflows, tracking payments, and delivering field data to inform project decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Nine years of experience in construction administration, project controls or cost estimating.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with E&C Team to manage construction change management on capital projects.
• Evaluates contractor cost proposals and prepares independent cost estimates.
• Develops work order pre-authorizations and change management workflows.
• Monitors contractor progress and prepares field reports and payments.
• Provides training to consultants and contractors on change management.
• Participates in construction meetings and leads change discussions.
