Job summary

Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is seeking a Construction Supervisor I to oversee the construction phase of public improvement contracts. You will manage field activities, coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and contractors, and help ensure milestones and contract requirements are met.

Responsibilities include reviewing design plans for constructability, preparing cash flow projections, administering purchase orders, and documenting progress with daily reports.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field (or coursework towards Bachelor’s).
• Five years of construction experience, including underground or plant work preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate field engineering and inspection activities.
• Review preliminary/final design plans for constructability and advise on materials/equipment.
• Prepare cash flow projections and manage contract changes.
• Administer purchase orders and ensure contract terms are met.
• Oversee day-to-day field activities to meet milestone dates and schedules.
