Job summary

Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District in Cleveland seeks an experienced construction cost and change management professional to support capital projects, compile cost data and analyze change orders.

The role collaborates with the Engineering & Construction team, coordinates with utilities, prepares independent estimates, negotiates scope and cost, and leads meetings, payment reviews and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Nine years of experience in construction administration, project controls or cost estimating.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with E&C Team to execute construction change management on capital projects.
• Assists in coordinating projects with utilities, municipalities and agencies.
• Evaluates contractor cost proposals for change/work orders; prepares independent cost estimates.
• Develops work order pre-authorizations, work orders, RFPs and change-management workflows.
• Investigates construction claims and assists in cost negotiations with contractors.
• Delivers training to consultants and contractors on change-management standards.
