Qualifications

• Ten or more years of estimating experience in construction.
• At least 2 years in estimating management with direct reports.
• Strong organizational, supervisory, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and escalate when needed.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.
• Interact professionally with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients.
• Proficient with estimating and project controls software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with third‑party estimating software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the estimating department staff.
• Oversee all estimates for the Project Management team.
• Maintain estimating standards across disciplines for quality control.
• Prepare post-bid reports, track bid performance, and follow up.
• Develop and maintain estimating tools, databases, and pricing.
• Manage bid scheduling and participate in bid reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales and Leadership on new pursuits.
• Support change order estimation, compilation, and negotiation.
• Help develop new estimating goals and update departmental budgets.
• Coordinate with Engineering, BIM, and Purchasing to advance capabilities.
