This full-time role involves reviewing plans, measuring materials, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety requirements. Responsibilities include communicating with clients and staff, maintaining detailed field notes, and performing required tests.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree.
• Strong Math skills.
• Reading and interpreting plans, schedules, specs, quantities, and shop drawings.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to inspectors and engineers on roadway and bridge construction.
• Communicate effectively with staff, clients, GDOT, and contractors on jobsites.
• Review plans to verify safe workmanship and conformance to specs.
• Inspect and measure materials for compliance with plans and specs.
• Prepare daily field notes and perform standard tests as required.
