Job summary
Stantec is seeking a project team member for infrastructure projects, including rail and transit, based in Honolulu. You will assist Resident Engineer and Construction Manager, handle complex technical tasks, ensure QA/QC, and coordinate documentation and pay estimates while supporting environmental compliance.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 10+ years' construction experience, and PE/CCM is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field from an ABET accredited university.
- Hands‑on experience with inspection and contract administration of construction projects.
- Experience with traffic control and inspections of traffic control devices in the field.
- Licensed PE preferred; CCM can substitute for PE; EIT considered.
Responsibilities
- Support the Client PM, Construction Manager, and Resident Engineer as needed.
- Support management of rail and transit projects.
- Provide technical guidance to team members on complex projects.
- Coordinate project documentation, paperwork, and pay estimates.
- Monitor project schedule and field progress.
- Assist with environmental compliance and issue resolution.
