Qualifications

• Accredited four-year engineering degree or global equivalent with 12 years of related experience.
• Strong communication with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge to perform the role effectively.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state/provincial, and federal guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for project managers, superintendents, and contractors; support problem solving.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer for timely document flow.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program when quality is the responsibility of the construction engineering department; report status to project management.
• Other duties as assigned.
