Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage information critical to delivering the Lima, OH project on time, within budget, and to contract quality. You will supervise engineers, assistants, and interns while coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and Owner's Representatives to resolve issues in plans and specifications.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, strong communication, and proficiency in BIM and LEAN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years related construction experience.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead liaison with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and Owner's Representatives.
• Oversee and decide on contract drawings and subcontract information; ensure alignment with the estimate.
• Manage project budget, submittals, shop drawings and change orders.
• Prepare final records for close-out including RFIs, warranties, and O&Ms.
• Supervise engineers, assistants, clerks and interns; participate in performance evaluations.
• Develop Scope of Work documents for trades; coordinate meetings and reviews.
