Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Sr Construction Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and field coordination on complex commercial and light industrial projects in New York. You will manage design teams and collaborate with project managers, field teams, and clients to deliver quality installations.

Ideal candidates bring 2–10+ years of electrical engineering/construction experience, proficiency with Revit or AutoCAD, and a PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

2-10+ years of electrical engineering/construction experience.
Experience with design software such as Revit or AutoCAD.
Experience on commercial/industrial/institutional construction projects.
PE license is a plus.
Strong communication with teams and clients.
Knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, codes.

Responsibilities

Manage electrical engineering and construction design teams across multiple market sectors.
Support electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout with field ops, PMs, and estimating.
Use design software to coordinate new builds, renovations, and construction documentation.
Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for constructability and code compliance.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, superintendents, and field personnel for accurate project execution.
Assist with value engineering, budgeting, and cost-saving solutions during preconstruction and construction.
